Nesmuk boards

The cutting board is an important factor for the edge retention of a blade. Hard boards like glass, marble or plastic are not recommended because they can quickly dull a knife. The best cutting boards are made from wood:

All Nesmuk boards are made from the heartwood of German oaks. Nesmuk only uses ledges cut across the grain: This protects the finely sharpened blades. This also extends the life of the board and helps retaining its fine surface.

All Nesmuk boards are available either untreated light or traditionally smoked dark.
